London, UK – 08 October 2019 – Oregan Networks, a pioneering British software company specialising in advanced Pay TV solutions, announced its acquisition of the Zenterio AB assets, and assimilation of its engineering and delivery teams located in Linköping, Sweden and Guadalajara, Mexico.
The purchase took place on the 24th September 2019, boosting Oregan’s ability to scale its multiscreen platform innovation and project delivery capabilities, as well as enabling the company to offer seamless support continuity to Zenterio’s existing customer deployments.
Oregan’s CEO, Mark Perry commented, ‘As part of the overall industry-wide consolidation to drive greater operational efficiencies and roadmap acceleration, we are pleased to welcome our new team members. The former Zenterio talent further strengthens our expertise in Pay TV systems, whilst offering uninterrupted support to Zenterio’s prominent global customers and partners. We are delighted to have expanded our team with colleagues who share our culture of innovation and high-quality service.’
The transaction follows a due diligence process, including assessment of technology, team capabilities and customer obligations, allowing Oregan to expediently address the immediate requirements of the Zenterio TV footprint.
Oregan expects to post positive financial performance for the fiscal year, and is undertaking an aggressive expansion plan, with further engineering recruitment planned in UK, Sweden, Mexico and Eastern Europe.
